School Holidays - Summer 2026 at Bowland Country Park

Summer at Bowland Country Park is all about long countryside days, outdoor adventure and simple family fun – and we’ll soon be sharing full details of what’s planned for the 2026 school holidays.

While plans are still being finalised, you can expect plenty to enjoy across the park. From meeting our animals to exploring woodland walks and letting the kids burn off energy in the adventure play area, summer is the perfect time to make a full day of it.

Our newly rebuilt Trough & Brew Café will be open daily throughout the holidays, serving breakfasts, lunches, sweet treats and proper brews – making it easy to start your visit with coffee and cake or refuel after a morning of exploring.

We’ll be announcing any special summer activities, themed events and family extras closer to the holidays, so keep an eye on this page for updates.

In the meantime, you can explore the park, plan your visit and get ready for fresh air, friendly animals and relaxed summer days in the heart of the Forest of Bowland.
